Experience the ultimate in Scout leadership training! Wood Badge for the 21st Century is advanced training that will give adult leaders the tools to make a difference. The course brings together adults from all areas of Scouting (Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, Explorer, Varsity as well as the district and Council) who want to become better leaders. Wood Badge training provides a common foundation of leadership skills to be used throughout all program areas.
Wood Badge teaches adults leadership skills over two three-day weekends. Participants will leave the course with the resources that will help them not only become better leaders in the Boy Scouts, but also with tools that are transferable to all parts of their life.
Regardless whether you have been in Scouting one year or 10, you will be re-freshed with the know-how to help you build teams in any organization, both inside and outside Scouting. You’ll learn how to be a more effective leader and to build a quality program for youth. You will live the magic of Scout leadership training as envisioned by the founder of Scouting, Lord Robert Baden-Powell.
